The last week has been monumental in many ways. As a counselor and educator, some days are discouraging, bleak, leaving you desperate for change in the lives of kids. But in the midst of those feelings, God works.
Where have you seen God work this week?
I’m reminded when we look at the circumstances around us, it’s easy to be distracted by negatively and discouragement. As we look to Him asking for His perspective, responding in praise, the circumstances don’t change, but our countenance does.
When you see good things God has done for you, are you sharing what God has done?
I was reminded again and again to do this with my family, my children, the kids I work with, even in small ways in a public school.
Sharing what God has done…..
This Friday night I have a great privilege to share what God has done by speaking to moms at the Arise Conference in Pensacola, Florida. I have been writing weekly at Not Alone Mom since January and we hare taking the heart of the ministry to moms in person.
Friday evening I’ll be sharing what God has done in my journey as a mom through Joel 2. My journey has been life-changing, life-giving, but not without sacrifice and challenges. When I speak to moms about my beyond the picket fence parenting journey, women ask for more. Why?
Because my life hasn’t been perfect, but God has restored and redeemed and He desires to restore things in your life, too.
You can join us for the event in your home with live-streaming!
Find out more about the event here along with home party giveaways from Thomas Nelson publishers. Also, find out about Krissy and Lara who will be sharing that night. YOU can watch it by live-streaming.
Also, for my readers, I’m having a giveaway of my friend Michelle Howe’s new book “It Is Finished” to one of you who watches! All you have to do is watch the conference, email me at brenda@brendayoder.com with one thing you learned from the conference and I’ll enter your name in the drawing. Read about Michelle’s book here. I’ll take entries through Sunday evening, October 27.
See you in Pensacola! And in the meantime, are you sharing what God has done with others in your world? What has He done for you? Share here! We’d love to hear!
