Faith in Practice

May 2, 2012 | Faith

Faith.  I’m starting to learn a little more about this.  In one of my recent blogs, I wrote about a dehumidifier, taking the unseen from the air and turning it into something tangible.

Principles are great unless you put them into practice.

Today, I am believing the Lord for His goodness when the circumstances say, “Don’t believe.”  I am thanking Him for the outcome even though my head and heart says, “Not again.”

I don’t know if you ever walk in these spaces.  Frankly, it’s hard to “believe” when everything else says, “Not gonna happen.”

But my God is good.  I’ve been praying Psalm 23 the last several weeks.  Praying scripture is powerful because it takes our eyes off of the circumstances and places His words and promises in our heart.  Tangible truth to hold on to.

I don’t know if you need tangible faith today.  I do.  I’m praying His word over and over again, believing when I can’t see, trusting His character and word when emotions say, “Don’t.”

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…”
