Catching Up

Apr 12, 2013 | Faith

Some weeks seem to be so busy.  I don’t get a chance to interact with you, my readers, with whom I’m not connected through FB or Twitter.  This Friday as I’m ready to walk out the door, I want to catch you up with some Life Beyond the Picket Fence updates.

This evening, I’ll be posting Ingrid’s inspiring story about her recent experience with cancer, healing, and questions.  She’s a great writer and has a spirit I have learned to love.  Stay tuned!

Second, I’m writing twice a week at a new site for parents of teens and tweens called Parents Space.  Check out not only my articles, which are usually different from ones posted here, but those from other contributors.  There are many, many topics for parents who may be struggling in different areas – check it out!  A recent post on Simple Truths for Children is near to my heart.

Thirdly, every Friday I write at Not Alone Mom, a ministry I am privileged to be a part of. You can find my posts there each Friday about mid-morning.  Krissy and I are working on a e-book this spring together around home and life organization, and posts related to it are found each Friday through March and April.  Come join us there!

Lastly, I’ve been preparing for a retreat for young moms I will be doing next weekend.  This is something close to my heart.  I needed so much support and encouragement when I was a young mom.   Encouraging those in the trenches is a great joy for me.  The theme of the retreat is a kitchen theme – Clean Up My Mess! Measuring Up, Balancing It All, and Pouring Out.  I’d love to share any of these topics with your women’s group if needed!  Contact me for more information.

I’ll be posting this weekend as usual – until then, have a great day!  I’d love to join you on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest where we can interact more frequently.  You are important to me!
