Training a Gentleman

Feb 28, 2010 | Faith

Tonight my oldest son went to his first semi-formal dance.

He’ll be 16 next week, but tonight he was 15.  He’s 6’2” and I had to tuck in his shirt and fold down the collar, and………

And I drove him to pick up his friend, a beautiful young lady.  I drilled him on the way there.

“Do this, do that, don’t to this, don’t do that.”

MOM, I KNOW.

I chauffeured them there dropped them off and hung around just enough….

….yes!  He opened the door for her!

Momma smiled as she drove away.  Mission accomplished, for today.
