A licensed mental health counselor, school counselor and educator, Brenda believes safe places in Christian circles are essential for healing. She is an advocate for behavioral health and hurting people. Brenda has 
professional experience working with children, addictions, domestic violence, eating disorders, sexual abuse, depression, grief and broken families. She is available to educate your ministry leaders, pastors, lay leaders, congregation, business or community agency on a variety of behavioral topics including addictions, abuse, boundaries, trauma, eating disorders, mental health issues, adolescent issues, grief, depression, sexual assault, pornography, social media and technology, and parenting.
Brenda is on the speaker’s bureau for the Dove’s Nest, a faith-based advocacy group for child abuse prevention, social media safety, and bullying. She can speak to your school or faith community on bullying, social media, child abuse prevention and training. She a certified trainer on Healthy Boundaries by the Faith Trust Institute.
Brenda is also an experienced educator and school counseling professional. Her experience working in schools with elementary, middle and high school students gives her hands-on experience working with children, families, and educators. She is available to speak for school in-services or staff trainings on emotional and behavioral development, needs of at-risk children, mental health issues or trauma or as an inspirational encourager for teachers.
