Brenda is a sought-after speaker for parenting and women’s groups specifically related to parenting and motherhood. Her professional experience teaching middle and high schoolers and her current role as a professional counselor for elementary and intermediate students provides her with wisdom and insight for the parenting journey. She also has been a service provider for families in foster care and families with domestic violence.
Her deepest wisdom comes from personal experience. Her own parenting journey touches audiences of all ages. Being a stay-at-home-mom, a working mom, parenting four kids, experiencing postpartum depression and tumultuous years with teenagers, Brenda has experienced heights and depths of being a mom with real issues.
The blog began when Brenda reached out to others when life didn’t fit the picket-fence image. If you need encouragement or wisdom in parenting, read Brenda’s weekly parenting articles at Not Alone Mom, Parents Space, 10 to 20 Parenting or her monthly column on Middle Schoolers at Choose Now Ministries,
